Title: Standards & Technology Director, IPC Asia

Location: Shanghai

The role of Standards & Technology Director is to both engage the industry in technology leading efforts to strengthen and prepare it for the future, as well as stay current and participate in the technologies that influence the electronics manufacturing industry.

 

主要职责

1. Identify opportunities from Asia which will engage companies in region in IPC’s global standardization platform.
2. Lead staff team and direct IPC standard development projects that promote best practices for electronic industry. 
3. Enhance the influence of IPC standards by bringing industry influencers as active participants to the standards groups.
4. Ensure the standards development activities are working out as planned and vitality is maintained by coordinating standardization plans with IPC HQ, utilizing IPC processes and procedures to ensure global synergy with IPC standards efforts, keeping close contact with the standard committee chairs, good management of committee works, good management of online technical committee resource tools and so on.
5. Work with cross functional teams to increase industry adoption of IPC standards, the efforts may include market promotions, developing and providing standard-based products such as training, certification, and validation programs.
6. Develop and manage technical exchange platforms in Asia, such as and organizing technic events, provide technical support and communication to IPC Members and IPC Staff regarding IPC standards and applications of technology.
7. Other duties as assigned.

 

职位要求

1. Bachelor or above degree in science or engineering. 
2. 10 years of work experience in R&D, quality control or manufacturing management in electronics industries with at least 5 years of successful leadership experience, strong connections with industry leader companies / organizations preferred.
3. Strong oral, writing and presentation skills in Mandarin and English, capable to collaborate with global and local teams efficiently.
4. Good knowledge in how industry standards and quality programs are used inside a company and within the electronics industry supply chains, experience with internal standards development is minimum and experience with industry standards development is preferred. 
5. Strong leadership, Innovative, proactive.
